I want to shoot more panoramic figure-in-cityscape portraits and DxO’s DeepPRIME feature produces such fine results that Fujifilm X raw files bear up well when blown up large and third-party software like Topaz Labs Gigapixel AI makes for even bigger blow-ups of good enough quality for printing and reproduction. I’d love future Fujifilm X System cameras to have a wider range of aspect ratios like the Fujifilm GFX System cameras do, but for now I’ll be setting up more custom crop ratios in DxO PhotoLab now that it is easier to do that. To date I’ve mostly stuck with the Fujifilm X Series cameras’ default 2:3 aspect ratio but I’ve been wanting to add some of the aspect ratios I loved working with in my analog days when I had Sinar Vario and Sinar Zoom 120/220 roll-film magazines for my 4″x5″ sheet film cameras.
